Finally part 2

The thing I have been looking forward to for a while was.....the RODEO!!! What??? Who would have guessed. I absolutely love the rodeo, the horses, the bulls, the cattle roping, and the cutest thing of all is the MUTTON BUSTIN'!! I have decided my children will be mutton busters. It will be awesome.

My dream job would be to be the flag girl at rodeos. Get paid to ride a horse and look cute..FREAK YEAH!!

These little guys were SO cute!

perfect cowboy name!

AAAAHHHHH Yeah!! Chris Young

Harvey Spector came to the rodeo.

Finally..

After two weeks straight of events, I took some time off and headed home. I hadn't been home since January or February...that's a LONG time I think, 7 months? I think I flew home from Hawaii more often when I was there. However, I guess I do have responsibilities now....WHAT?? jk. IT was so nice to take some time off and not have to worry about emails, phone calls, meetings, clients, etc. (man I make it sound like I have a rough life). I had an event for Creighton University that went until midnight on Friday and my flight was 6am Saturday morning, needless to say...Saturday came pretty early. I was so tired. One little perk of the flights I took was there was always an empty seat next to me and it was nice because everyone else was smooshed like sardines. HAHAHH SUCKAAASSSS....

Home was so nice, it was definitely different going home and slowing down from work. I had NO problem slowing down, which is funny because when I would go home from school I had the hardest time slowing down. I totally fell asleep as soon as I got home and away from the crazy puppies. They are so cute..although I felt so accomplished when I put them to sleep by driving them around in the pick-up hahah
They were out by R road!!
I just loved relaxing...
apparently I enjoyed sleeping in my favorite chair!

Baby Jonah is my BF on SnapChat

Harvest...is OVER

A size 18 shoe is the same size as 2 of my feet. CRAY CRAY!!
I have been discovering things in Omaha I never knew existed...

I have also been really busy with events....
This was the only accident that happened during my week long event.

You know, I may not be a drinker, but I think that is a LOT of beer for 2 people!

Go Jays!!! Creighton is a big client and I was in charge of their President's Alumni Celebration Dinner.
The events I had before I went to WA totally wore me out, I had the Omaha Products Show that started on Monday and move-out ended on Friday at 3pm. Then, Creighton moved into the exhibit hall next to Products and upstairs. They moved in starting at 8am, and moved out at 12am on Friday. HOLY CRAP that was a LONG week, but I have much longer ones coming up. AHHHH but luckily I LOVE my job!

SUMMER

Summer has yet to be over, and for me it will end abruptly here shortly, so of course I HAVE to live it up! This weekend I met up with some friends from the wards here and took a look at RIB FEST...Yes be jealous! Actually, I was a little jealous, I think fairs like this would be more fun if I didn't have to worry about allergies, but it was still a super fun, casual, laidback atmosphere. There was also live music, and I loved it because I knew every word to every song!! GO COUNTRY MUSIC :)

Tonight I am working a 40 year high-school reunion. Apparently last night at their cocktail party they drank the bar dry. I thought I would get out of here early...who knew 60 year olds were drinkers...Yeah not me! Oh well. Here's to a long night.

It was so great to be able to go back to provo for these weddings. I was able to see both couples from the very beginning of their relationships to the temple, and it was such a neat experience. I honestly can say, I LOVE the temple and the happiness and joy it brings to people. I was able to see the peace in their eyes as they came out sealed to their best friend/eternal companion. I am grateful for the opportunity I had to watch both relationships and learn with them and learn from them! Yay for weddings and good friends!!!!

A Post of Firsts

I had my first visitors here in Omaha...my Grami and Grandpa came out over Father's Day weekend, and it was SO fun!! I felt so big that I could house them, I am sure they just amused me, but I felt so grown up that I actually had a spot for them. We did so much, they WORE ME OUT! We went to Kansas and met some distant family members. It was a fun experience, and I got a little more familiar with the road ways in Nebraska and Kansas. We went and did some shopping, well I looked, Grandpa checked his bank accounts in the Apple store, I drove, Grami shopped, they napped in between stops, I drove, we went to the Winter Quarters Temple and Visitor Center, I drove, they napped in the car, we went out to dinner, we made dinner, we just had a good weekend!
G&G got me a POPCORN maker!!! Woo hoo!!!

At the Apple Store, checking the balance on the bank accounts, NBD.
So, they were my FIRST visitors. My next first was experiencing my FIRST College World Series. I was so excited that I got to go, and it was crazy to see the fan base, and the Omahans that came out to see the series. It was a LONG two weeks, but I LOVED going to the game!!

The General Admission line would wrap around the block and then maze through the parkng lots.
With my first CWS down, I went to THE ZOO!! It was amazing, definitely did not see it all, and need to go back for SURE!

UMM seriously? A tractor at the zoo??

The zoo is done, and the previous week I had my very first YSA stake activity down under my belt. It went really well I think......hahaha we had a service project at a campsite about 20 minutes outside of Omaha, and then we had lunch and people then played in the water FOREVER, but apparently it went well enough for me to keep the calling. Don't worry I asked..hahha. So now I am done with that one, and now onto the next one in September, which is right during busy season. AHHH

Lately...

Lately I feel like I haven't done a lot of exciting things. I have been working on some big events that are coming up, one is during the 4th of July..WHAT THE HECK???!!?? Anyway, the weather has been getting better, although it has been PRETTY rainy lately, and my hair is just not staying straight, but whatever.

I have now been in two places a few times in my life, but never over a river. OH YEAH!!

I had a little issue with my car a couple of weeks ago. I was totally on top of my car maintenance, I had my tires rotated and balanced and my oil changed right when I was supposed to. I felt so good, well later that night my oil warning light went on and I thought maybe it was just a sensor issue. Come to find out, my car had been dripping oil ALL day, and there was a HUGE puddle under my car of my oil. So I had to leave my car in IOWA over night, and then call the JIFFY LUBE  man and explain to him what happened. Needless to say, he changed my oil and put in the correct filter and 5 quarts of oil. It is now running just fine.
If you have ever wonder what an event coordinator calendar looks like...here you go!! More events have been added, so in the fall I will have no down time.
The circus came into town last week. Look at the ELEPHANTS!!!!
This week our company participated in a fundraiser called Sand in the City. They created an Arctic Paradise, unfortunately it has been POURING all weekend, and so I am not even sure if the sculptures are standing. Some of the other companies were really cool actually.
