After finishing school in December at BYU, I finally went through Commencement and Convocation. It was so bittersweet being back in Utah even though I haven't been gone that long. I can say though, I am SO glad I am done with school. Jarrett walked with me, and he will be done in June, he didn't think it was a big deal to walk (he still has like 4 years of school) but I was SUPER excited and LOVED every minute of graduation.

It was fun for me to see my friends and family, because now is the long stretch. I am not planning on going back to Utah until August for a wedding, and I am not sure when I will be making the voyage to Washington. I am so glad that my brother put up with me forcing him to go through graduation, because it would have SUCKED if I had to sit until the end of the Management School convocation ceremony to walk by myself...for some reason my major was on the LAST page.

It wouldn't be a complete weekend without an impromptu photo shoot in the parking lot right???
These events have been the most crazily attended by numbers/high profile.
This whole Berkshire thing is new to me, so it was INCREDIBLE and mind boggling to see how high profile this event was, and to see people line up at 430am to wait in the RAIN and DARK for a meeting. Needless to say, it is easy to get start struck.
Berkshire was on Saturday, and I was in charge of a different high profile event for University of Nebraska Medical Center. They are building a new Cancer Center called the Fred & Pamela Buffett (as in Warren) Cancer Center. I got to meet some pretty cool people on Tuesday. Very humbling, if you think you are something, I hate to break it to you, but you are not. It was so cool to meet senators, members of congress, Omaha royalty and to have them know my name! Who knew all of these cool people lived in NE??? Not me!
This has been a busy week, and I have a prom on Saturday, certainly not to the standard of the UNMC Cancer Ctr. but I guess if you are 16-18 it is HUGE.
Now we are getting ready for the College World Series. Omaha is getting greener and greener every day, and it is strange to not see crops growing, and I have only had to take allergy pills a couple of times a week instead of per day. I was able to go to the
Winter Quarters Temple (click on the link!!) with my ward last week and it was so nice to go inside and participate. A nice change of pace. I have learned what it feels like to not be able to go to church and I am not loving that part of my job, but I knew that it was a part of the job. Lots of changes are going on, and it is great to learn how to work with/around everything.
